Yannick Paget worked on numerous orchestrations commissioned by Orchestre Lamoureux and the Hyogo Performing Arts Center orchestra (HPAC). He gained orchestras ’s enthusiasm with his vivid orchestrations, including classical medleys in which he excels such as Lamoureux story and Tableaux de l’OFJ.
LAMOUREUX STORY
was commissioned by the Orchestre Lamoureux to celebrate ten years of collaboration with its musical director Yutaka Sado. (Live recording by the Orchestre des concerts Lamoureux).
The 4 last movements are a unique medley in which Yannick Paget entwines and overlays all the main scores that were played by the orchestra over the past ten years.
TABLEAUX DE L’OFJ
For symphonic orchestra, soloist and choir, Tableaux was commissioned by the Orchestre Français des Jeunes(OFJ) for the last concert of Marek Janowski. Though shorter than “Lamoureux story”, it is inspired by a similar method. The original overture uses the words OFJ and Marek Janowski as follow:

LA MARSEILLAISE
For symphonic orchestra, soloist and choir, commissioned by the Hyogo performing Arts Center. It is a free orchestration of the French national Anthem.

BOLERO DE RAVEL
Orchestration for percussion ensemble and piano
Yannick Paget wrote several versions of Ravel’s "bolero" : a "backward" version named the "Rolebo" and a version for percussion ensemble. This last version was warmly received by the Japanese public and by David Herbert, timpanist of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra who chooses to perform it with his percussion band at PMF (Pacific Music festival)
